Ever “wonder” what’s happening around us?

If you ask me, the answer’s a resounding NO! I’m a tad busy with my professional and personal priorities. Yet, there are times when I pause a little to take a look around. And guess what I end up finding…

Floppotron! A musical instrument that’s literally made up of junk (well, we can’t use them for sure)!

And just when I thought phones were getting boring… they’re now becoming weirder!

Can’t quite say “mind-bending”… but yikes!

If that wasn’t enough, some folks have discovered (they say “potentially”) the world’s longest uninterrupted walks — from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia. A whopping 22,387km (13,910 miles) only!

Care for a morning walk? I can’t imagine. I’m pretty sure someone will probably do it in the next 20 years. Here’s a kicker — Google Maps estimates it would take 4,492 hours to walk it, which translates into 187 days of non-stop walking. If instead, you decided to walk a more sensible 8 hours a day, it would take you 562 days to complete the whole walk!

Phew! That just made me hungry. Speaking of which, I’ve always been fascinated with cheese. I just love it! All of them! And I’ve always preferred it over butter (because I’m lactose intolerant), which is an essential ingredient in the Indian cuisine. I bumped into this (really, really, really) fascinating video on the history of cheese by Professor Paul Kindstedt, PhD.

Interesting, isn’t it? Who knew? And here’s some more if you would like to know the science of cheese (I know, it sounds cheesy).

I don’t know how I got from weird innovations to eating cheese but here’s a quote to muse on…

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
