I believe our aspirations shouldn’t be capped off by the limitations of our thoughts and belief. But missing out on experiencing the human being within us to achieve something greater (at least in your opinion) isn’t quite living, but suffering. If not for you, definitely the ones around you.
So, is it worth becoming a saint when all that your loved ones hoped was you to become a better person? The answer can be an emphatic “yes,” but I believe the key to all worthy progressions is that we stay on course and connected with the people around us who make the journey worthwhile.
No point in reaching the end of the road, alone. That’s a living being who forgot to be human.
